    Overview

Pairings Canada provides delivery for eligible wine and gourmet gifts across Canada where available. Delivery availability is confirmed during checkout based on the recipient’s address, product eligibility, delivery requirements, and applicable delivery rules.

We prepare and coordinate orders based on recipient address, product type, delivery availability, product eligibility, alcohol-related requirements, courier capacity, and routing. Available delivery information and estimated delivery dates are shown during checkout where available.

    Order Processing

Orders begin processing shortly after payment is confirmed. Customers requesting an address correction, order change, gift-message update, delivery instruction update, or cancellation should contact customer service as early as possible.

Once an order has shipped, or once preparation, customization, fulfillment, or delivery coordination has begun, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

    Delivery Availability

Delivery options may vary by destination, product availability, delivery partner availability, alcohol-related requirements, weather, seasonal volume, and applicable federal, provincial, territorial, or local requirements.

Some products may not be available for delivery to all locations. If a recipient address, product, or delivery request requires additional review, customer service may contact the purchaser before fulfillment proceeds.

    Delivery Timing

Pairings Canada offers delivery and shipping options for eligible wine and gourmet gifts where available. Same-day delivery may be available only for eligible products and eligible delivery areas when order timing, inventory, delivery capacity, and applicable requirements allow.

Delivery dates, delivery windows, shipping times, same-day availability, and transit times shown at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery times unless expressly confirmed in writing by Pairings Canada.

Exact delivery timing may vary due to routing, traffic, weather, recipient availability, building access, security procedures, carrier performance, courier capacity, product preparation requirements, and operational volume.

Residential deliveries typically occur by end of day. Business, office, institutional, and managed-property deliveries typically occur during standard business hours where possible.

    Checkout Delivery Confirmation

Delivery availability, estimated delivery timing, and available delivery options should be reviewed during checkout before an order is submitted. Customers are responsible for confirming that the recipient address, delivery date, and product selection are eligible before completing the order.

If checkout does not display a requested delivery option for a destination or product, that option may not be available for that order.

    Delivery Completion

Deliveries do not require a signature unless otherwise stated or required due to product type, delivery location, alcohol content, age verification, courier policy, or applicable delivery rules.

Orders may be left in a safe location or delivered to a recipient, building representative, concierge, reception desk, security desk, front desk, mailroom, loading area, shipping room, or other building-approved receiving point where appropriate.

Once proof of delivery has been obtained, or the order has been accepted by the recipient, building representative, reception desk, mailroom, concierge, security desk, front desk, or other authorized receiving location, the order may be considered delivered.

Office, Building, and Managed Property Deliveries

Deliveries to offices, institutions, apartments, condominiums, hotels, hospitals, gated communities, retirement residences, campuses, and managed properties may be completed through reception, mailroom, concierge, security, front desk, loading area, shipping room, or another building-approved receiving point.

Customers are responsible for providing complete delivery details, including company name, department, suite or unit number, buzzer code, recipient phone number, building instructions, delivery notes, and any access information needed for delivery.

Pairings Canada is not responsible for delays, failed delivery attempts, internal building handling issues, or delivery complications caused by incomplete building access information or building-specific receiving procedures.

    Incorrect or Incomplete Address Information

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at the time an order is placed.

    • Address changes must be requested promptly after ordering and before the order ships or delivery coordination begins.
    • Orders with incorrect or incomplete address information may be delayed, misdelivered, returned, or undeliverable.
    • Refunds, replacements, or credits may not be issued for orders affected by address errors, missing suite or unit numbers, incorrect recipient information, missing phone numbers, or incomplete delivery instructions.
    • Additional delivery, correction, re-shipping, or re-delivery fees may apply where available.

    Recipient Availability

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the recipient information provided is accurate and that the recipient can receive the delivery where required. This is especially important for deliveries containing wine, alcohol, perishable items, restricted products, or gifts requiring age verification, adult signature, or recipient availability.

If the recipient is unavailable, cannot be reached, refuses delivery, does not meet applicable age or eligibility requirements, or cannot receive the order due to access restrictions, the order may be delayed, returned, treated as undeliverable, or subject to additional fees.

    Service Area Review

Some addresses within, near, or outside regular service areas may require additional review before fulfillment proceeds.

If an address requires additional delivery coordination, restrictions, or fees, customer service may contact the purchaser before fulfillment continues. If delivery cannot be completed to the address provided, the order may be modified, delayed, cancelled, or treated as undeliverable depending on the circumstances.

    Undeliverable Orders

Orders may be considered undeliverable when delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete address information, recipient unavailability, refused delivery, restricted access, failed age verification where applicable, unsafe conditions, legal restrictions, courier limitations, or circumstances outside our control.

    • Refunds may not be issued for undeliverable orders caused by customer or recipient circumstances.
    • Re-delivery or re-shipping may incur additional fees where available.
    • Perishable items may need to be remade and cannot always be recovered, reused, or resold.
    • Incorrect or incomplete address information remains the customer’s responsibility.
    • Orders containing wine, alcohol, or restricted items may be subject to additional delivery requirements.

    Perishable and Time-Sensitive Products

Some products may include perishable, seasonal, temperature-sensitive, or time-sensitive components. These items are selected and prepared with delivery timing, product condition, and presentation in mind.

If a perishable component is unavailable, unsuitable for the delivery conditions, or not appropriate for the required timing, it may be replaced with an appropriate alternative at our discretion to protect quality, presentation, and successful delivery.

Customers and recipients are responsible for retrieving, receiving, storing, and handling products appropriately after delivery.

    Substitutions

Because wine, gourmet foods, packaging, and related gift components may be seasonal, perishable, regulated, or subject to availability, substitutions may occasionally be necessary.

When substitutions are made, Pairings Canada aims to maintain the overall balance, quality, value, presentation, flavour direction, and intended gift experience of the order.

Due to product availability, delivery timing, order volume, and preparation requirements, customers may not always be contacted in advance regarding substitutions.

    Alcohol and Regulated Products

Some products or add-ons may include wine, alcohol, or other regulated products where permitted by applicable law. Delivery of alcohol or regulated products is subject to applicable federal, provincial, territorial, local, and other applicable requirements depending on the delivery destination.

Age verification, adult signature, recipient availability, and additional delivery requirements may apply where required. Failed delivery due to age verification, recipient unavailability, refusal, restricted access, or local delivery requirements may not be eligible for refund, replacement, or credit.

Pairings Canada reserves the right to cancel, modify, delay, or refuse orders containing alcohol or regulated products where required or appropriate based on delivery eligibility, recipient location, product availability, or applicable requirements.

    Custom Wine Gifts

Custom wine gifts may be prepared based on occasion, recipient type, flavour preferences, wine preferences, gourmet pairing preferences, budget direction, and delivery timing provided by the customer.

Because custom wine gifts may require selection, preparation, substitution decisions, packaging, and delivery coordination, changes may be limited once preparation, customization, fulfillment, or delivery coordination has begun.

    External Factors

Delivery schedules may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, traffic, courier disruptions, carrier delays, labour disruptions, holidays, seasonal volume, public emergencies, building access restrictions, security procedures, supply shortages, regulatory requirements, or transportation network issues.

We are not responsible for refunds, replacements, credits, delays, failed delivery attempts, or non-delivery caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

    Order Tracking

Where tracking information is available, customers may use the order tracking tool on this website to check the latest available shipment or delivery status.

Tracking updates may not appear immediately after an order is prepared, picked up, scanned, or transferred to a courier or carrier. Tracking information is provided by delivery partners, couriers, carriers, or related service providers and may be subject to delay or update limitations.

    WHY WE EXIST

A Better Way To Send Wine

A bottle of wine can be appreciated on its own, but the best gifting experiences happen when wine, food, and presentation work together. Pairings exists to help customers move beyond simple wine purchases and create gifts that feel thoughtful, balanced, and ready to enjoy from the moment they arrive.

    SOMMELIER GUIDED

    Built With Real-World Wine Expertise

Our partner sommelier actively conducts tastings in restaurant and hospitality environments, helping evaluate how wines perform with food in real-world settings. Experience across wine regions in California, Ontario, Italy, and France helps inform the structure, balance, and compatibility of our selections.

    PAIRING PHILOSOPHY

    What Makes A Pairing Work

Great pairings are built on balance. Rich foods require wines with enough structure to stand beside them. Chocolate often benefits from wines with complementary sweetness. Lighter foods need wines that refresh rather than overwhelm. Every pairing is assembled with flavour, texture, and overall experience in mind.

    EXPERIENCE

More Than A Decade Of Gifting Experience

Since 2014, we have helped customers celebrate occasions, thank clients, recognize milestones, and send thoughtful gifts across Canada. Our experience in gifting influences every decision—from wine selection to presentation and delivery.

    OUR PROCESS

    Designed To Work Together

Every pairing follows a structured approach. We consider flavour intensity, sweetness, texture, presentation, and occasion before products are combined. The goal is simple: create a gift that feels complete rather than a collection of unrelated items.
